Mark Menopause Awareness Month with our series of educational webinars.

The webinars are free and registration is not required. Cameras and microphones will be turned off and the chat function disabled.

The webinars are presented in partnership with library services across the North West of England and funded by Libraries Connected.

Perimenopause and Menopause Journey

Date: Tuesday 7th October 10:30am to 11:30am.

Perimenopause and menopause can be a confusing time, and navigating this journey can be tricky. Dr Cath Munro is a British Menopause Society-accredited menopause specialist, and she will talk you through this journey, what to expect, how to prepare and how best to navigate your own journey.

Mindfulness and Menopause Awareness

Date: Thursday 16th October 12pm to 1pm.

Join Jayshri (Jay) Mistry for a 60-minute presentation on Mindfulness for Menopause, offering practical strategies to enhance wellbeing, ease stress, calm the mind, and build resilience. Helping you feel more balanced and healthier during life changes.

Introduction to Bone Health for Perimenopause

Date: Tuesday 21st October 1pm to 2pm.

In this informative and empowering talk, retired orthopaedic surgeon and lecturer in bone health, Dr Angela White, will explain why your bones are your most important long-term investment. 

Debunking some common myths and explaining how your skeleton is constantly remodelling itself, you’ll discover how you can start with small evidence-based changes that will make a world of difference to your future self.

Join us for an empowering session with Diane Danzebrink, founder of Menopause Support and the national Make Menopause Matter campaign, who is a passionate advocate for better menopause education, care, and support.

Staying Healthy in Midlife

Date: Tuesday 28th October 10:30am to 11:30am.

Weight management can be really tricky in midlife. Finding sound and evidence-based advice about how to stay healthy during this time can be difficult with so much confusing information in the media.

In this webinar, Renee McGregor and Dr Catherine Munro will talk about the way our bodies work and how what we eat influences our health, as well as cover evidence-based approaches to eating and exercising for a healthy body.
