Family Hub app
Trafford Family Hubs have partnered with Essential Parent to create the Trafford Family Hub app. This provides advice and guidance from trusted, evidence-based sources on all aspects of pregnancy, babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, family wellbeing and women’s health – all in one place.
It offers ongoing personalised information for you and your baby, based on their birthday or due date.
This has been developed in partnership with councils across Greater Manchester and can be found in app stores as GM Family Hub. Once you have logged in and provided your postcode it will then default to information specific to Trafford.

Parent Infant Mental Health Pathway (PIMH)
The perinatal period is the time between conceiving a baby until the end of the first postnatal year. 20% of women experience mental health problems during this time, making this a relatively common experience.
It is vital that women receive treatment and support as early as possible. We know that if left untreated, mental illness can have a significant and long-lasting impact on the woman, her infant and her family. Find out about the support available under the Parent Infant Mental Health Pathway (PIMH).
