Food-related ill health
Nutritious food is essential for our health, but our chances of accessing healthy food depend strongly on where we live. Children living in less affluent areas are more likely to be exposed to unhealthy food in their high streets and communities, and are more likely to experience poor health as a result.
Where we live and the money we have shape our food and activity options. We want to make Trafford a place where we can positively influence the factors that impact on food and health. Alongside this, we also commission services for people who want individual support to eat healthy food and move more.
