Your library card

There are many things you can use your library card for:

• Borrowing books and items from the library
• Accessing a range of online services, including e-Books, e-Audiobooks, and e-Magazines through Borrowbox
• Using a computer in a library
• Accessing some libraries 'out of hours' using Open+. To access Open+ libraries in Trafford, you will need to ask for your borrower type to be changed.

You can also use your card to access other libraries in Greater Manchester, outside of the Trafford borough.

Lost, stolen or damaged cards

If your library card is lost, stolen or damaged, let us know as soon as possible so we can give you a new one. Remember you are responsible for your library card and any items borrowed on it; don't lend it to anyone else. 

If you change address, let any library know as soon as possible.
