We have long waiting lists for several popular books. Please consider donating copies you no longer need, in excellent condition, so we can get them to customers faster.

- Nesting by Roisin O'Donnell (Adult Fiction)
- Speak to Me of Home by Jeanie Cummins (Adult Fiction)
- The Let them Theory: a Life-Changing Tool that Millions of People Can't Stop Talking About by Mel Robbins (Adult Non-Fiction)
- Dream Count: a novel by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (Adult Fiction)
- Dog Man: Lord of the fleas by Dav Pilkey (Junior Fiction)

We are also looking for good-quality children’s board books and picture books for our junior libraries.

If you think you can help, read our donations policy, bring your donations into any of our libraries, and we’ll do the rest.
Trafford Libraries’ donations policy
We (Trafford Libraries) welcome donated items under the following conditions:
- We accept donated items using the same criteria as purchased items. These may vary over time and depending on the library's needs.
- Items must be in excellent condition (new or as new) unless we judge they are of other specific value.
- No more than 20 donated items per customer.
- Donated items become the property of Trafford Libraries.
- Trafford Libraries reserve the right to accept, reject, sell or otherwise responsibly dispose of donated materials.
- Items we keep may be added to stock at any Trafford library.
- We are unable to return donated items to customers.
- We are unable to inform customers of the usage patterns of specific items added to library stock.
- We are unable to acknowledge receipt of any donations received by post. Any donations received will be treated per our donations policy. We are unable to return items received by post.
