Stretford Library meeting rooms
Stretford Library currently has three meeting rooms available to hire.
Room facilities and equipment
- AV & Display Equipment.
- All rooms have Wi-Fi available throughout.
- Access to the beverage bay/communal kitchens is free, but refreshments (hot water, tea, coffee, and biscuits) are charged per person per booking.

Concessionary charges apply for registered charities and not-for-profit (NFP) organisations. The charity number and Companies House number for NFP organisations are needed when booking.
How to make a booking
To hire one or more of the rooms, you need to submit a booking form (add link)
- Rooms are available between 10am to 4:45pm on weekdays, and 10:00am to 3:45pm on Saturdays.
- Room hire outside of standard operating times is by prior arrangement only and subject to staffing availability.
- All rooms are bookable for a minimum of one hour, and are chargeable by the hour (for example, a meeting duration of 1.5 hours will have a hire charge of two hours)
- Bookings will not be confirmed until you have filled in the meeting rooms booking form.
- Allow up to 72 hours from booking form submission to receiving confirmation.
Cancellations
Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full rate of hire, including non-attendance on the day, which will be deemed as a cancellation without notice.
Bookings cancelled with between 24-48 hours’ notice will be charged at 50%.
