Parking information for Blue Badge holders
On-street parking
Blue Badge users can park for free in designated disabled bays. Some of these bays have a time limit which will be displayed on adjacent signs. Badge users can also park for free in Pay and Display bays on-street.
There is no parking exemption for Blue Badge holders:
- where signs show the area is restricted to permit holders
- in a permit bay where the signs state parking is also allowed for a limited time
For full guidelines for parking on-street refer to the Department for Transport guidance for Blue Badge parking.
Parking in our car parks
Parking is free for up to 3 hours in a marked disabled bay when displaying a Blue Badge and parking clock set at the time of arrival.
For stays of more than 3 hours, payment must be made for the full period. Information is available at each car park on the parking boards at pay and display machines.
