Stretford memorial service

Road closure

Chester Road (from the junction at Talbot road to Great Stone Road) will be closed to traffic (for the parade and service) between 10am – 12 noon.

Attendees

Arrive at the service no later than 10.30am, there are chairs available for anyone who may need a seat for the service.

Parade

Parade route and starting point is at the Metro sports club car park (Moss Road, Manchester, M32 0AH). If you are taking part in the parade arrive at the memorial for 10am.

The parade will arrive at the war memorial at an estimated time of 10.50am.

After the service

The Parade Marshal will lead the parade back to The Metro Club. The parade and service will take place in all but extreme weather conditions, so dress appropriately and bring an umbrella.
