• a benefit from the Department of Work and Pensions

What you need to provide

You will need to provide the following as part of your application:

• your personal details (including your National Insurance number)
• details of anyone living with you
• your email address
• information about your income and expenses

We may request that you provide supporting evidence. If you do not provide it in the time we require it, your application will be refused.

Our decision on your application

We aim to make a decision on your application within two working days. Check your email inbox (including junk and spam folders) for our decision.

Trafford Assist payments are discretionary and our decisions are final. There is no right to appeal to an independent tribunal.
